Your New Role:
Our thriving internal attorney recruiting team is growing, and we’re looking for an Attorney Recruiter to work with attorneys, law firms, and in-house legal teams throughout the Pacific Northwest. You’ll help attorneys navigate career moves, help clients fill critical roles, and guide both sides from first conversation to accepted offer.
We prefer some previous recruiting or hiring experience, but it’s not required. We can teach recruiting. What tends to matter more is business judgment, strong people instincts, and a bit of grit. Recruiting is rewarding, but it can also be unpredictable. Searches change, candidates withdraw, and great opportunities don’t always work out. The people who thrive here don’t get discouraged easily.
You’ll spend your days talking with attorneys, law firm partners, general counsel, and executive leaders. Successful recruiters on this team are comfortable having substantive conversations with accomplished professionals and earning trust through thoughtful advice, good judgment, and follow-through.
Former attorneys and people with attorney recruiting experience often do especially well on our team. Many are drawn to the opportunity to stay connected to the legal community while moving into a role that combines relationship-building, business development, and significant earning potential. They enjoy making connections, spotting opportunities, and helping deals come together. They’re comfortable picking up the phone, hearing “no,” and trying again.
This role has traditionally been very financially lucrative, with the potential to earn more than many of the candidates you place. We work 4 days a week in our art- and light-filled downtown office and remotely on Fridays.
