People know us as “recruiters,” or a “staffing agency,” but that doesn’t really cover who we are. We’re one-part guidance counselor, one-part therapist, and, potentially, your organization’s new best friend: impartial, honest, empathetic, and ready with the tools and resources to help you problem-solve and grow.
We bring the knowledge and skill to solve day-to-day issues or drive human resources initiatives. We can add bandwidth to your existing staff, or serve as your external HR resource.
Our HR consulting services are delivered on an hourly basis, with a “pay-for-use” approach, or on a retainer with economical, tailored options for businesses of any size with varying timelines.
Our on-call services include (but are not limited to) employee relations support, HR compliance, compensation questions, and more. We’re here for your questions and can help with your projects.
The benefits of a sound training program will resonate across an organization. Our programs provide flexible options that add value — from cost-effective online classes to customized, scalable solutions.
We excel at identifying top candidates and welcoming them into your organization, ready to hit the ground running. We’ll create a transition plan from date of hire through the first sixth months, tracking the fundamentals of success.
Onboarding programs are available to transition critical hires, teams, or executives into your organization.
Discover gaps, prioritize improvement, and adopt best practices. We’ll help you customize policies and craft a handbook that is compliant with state and federal law, on-brand for your organization, and foundational to your employee experience.
Abby Engers, J.D., SHRM-CP is HR Manager & Lead Consultant for our team, working internally on HR processes and leading a bench of HR Consultants to help our clients solve their HR, hiring, and retention pain points. Building relationships and making work inclusive and fulfilling drives her — enough to leave her job as an attorney to pursue a career in HR. Some of her areas of expertise include talent acquisition plans, employee relations advice, compensation plans, management training, talent management, policy updates with an equity lens, and employment law compliance. She’s a graduate of the University of Oregon’s School of Law and has been working in HR and recruiting since 2015. She’s also our resident writer, and has created two hiring-themed zines, 60+ blogs, and a job search themed workshop series.
