B:Side is HR's Best-Kept Secret header image

Finally, HR support that feels human.

Strategic insight and behind-the-scenes support — because you don’t have to do it alone.

If you’ve ever found yourself googling an HR question at 9pm, second-guessing a tough conversation, or wishing you had someone — anyone — to sanity-check a decision, you’re exactly who we built B:Side for.

Leading people is hard. Leading people alone is even harder.

Sound familiar?

  • You’re handling HR… but it’s not your only job (or even your main job).
  • You’re constantly asked to “just figure it out.”
  • Every new situation feels like reinventing the wheel.
  • You want to do right by your team, but don’t always have the tools, time, or backup.
  • You know you should be proactive, but you spend most of your time putting out fires.

And somewhere in there, you’re supposed to keep current on laws, best practices, compliance updates, and what “everyone else” is doing.

That’s a lot. Too much, honestly.

That's why B:Side exists.

B:Side is a membership-based HR support forum that gives you real guidance for real workplace situations: the messy ones, the human ones, the “how do I handle this?” ones.

Whether you’re a team of one, the default HR person by circumstance, or a founder trying to build something healthy from the ground up, B:Side gives you:

  • A place to ask your questions
  • People who actually know the Pacific Northwest landscape
  • Tools you can use right away
  • And the reassurance that you’re not navigating any of this solo

We’re not here to overwhelm you with theory. We’re here to stand beside you with practical support you can actually put to work tomorrow.

What you’ll get (without the noise):

Each month, we tackle one theme you’re probably dealing with right now — things like feedback, retention, performance reviews, compensation benchmarking, or benefit packages.

You’ll get:
  • A growing library of HR topics
  • One new theme tackled each month
  • Live monthly webinars (or the replay if your calendar explodes)
  • Templates, scripts, and frameworks you can use tomorrow
  • An active member community that actually responds
  • Discounts on fractional support and recruiting services
  • SHRM Professional Development Credits (PDCs)

Who is B:Side for?

If you’re in the Portland/Oregon/PNW region and you’re the person people go to when something is sensitive, confusing, or “HR-ish,” you belong here.

Especially if you’re:
  • An HR soloist
  • An office manager wearing too many hats
  • A founder or owner trying to build a great place to work
  • Someone who wants ongoing support — not a one-off fix

Enrollment Is Back Open!

With a B:Side membership, you’ll get access to the full library and everything we add from here on out: live monthly webinars (with replays when your calendar inevitably gets in the way), practical tools you can use right away, a responsive community forum, and a place to bring the questions that don’t have neat answers in the handbook.

If you’ve been waiting to join, this is your chance to come in, catch up, and glow up.
