Your New Role:

Our client, a long-standing manufacturing company, is adding a Talent Development & Acquisition Specialist to support the growth and development of its workforce. This role is ideal for someone who can independently manage programs and project-based initiatives while identifying opportunities to build a skilled, sustainable workforce. If you’re ready to take on a meaningful challenge, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

As the Talent Development & Acquisition Specialist, you’ll support a wide range of initiatives, including talent acquisition and onboarding, curriculum development and facilitation, succession planning and talent reviews, and manager and employee development. You’ll oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding, develop recruiting strategies, and help create a smooth transition from candidate to employee. You’ll also identify organizational training and skill-development needs, create learning objectives and course content, facilitate training for employees at all levels, and evaluate program effectiveness using results and feedback.

This role is a strong fit for someone with exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach. You’ll support the company’s career development programs, partner with HR leadership to identify critical roles, and coordinate talent review discussions that track development actions and organizational needs. You’ll also provide tools and resources that strengthen communication, manage talent programs from implementation through completion, and use data and metrics to evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Success in this role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently with limited supervision, and the ability to manage competing priorities and projects with professionalism and poise. Experience with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, learning management systems, or other HR technology platforms will help you stand out.

This is a fully on-site role in Hillsboro, Oregon, with convenient access to coffee shops, restaurants, and a wide range of local entertainment.
