What Matters Most:
- 3+ years of paralegal experience in medical malpractice defense preferred; experience in personal injury, insurance defense, or general litigation also considered
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and ProLaw preferred
- Experience e-filing in federal and OR and WA state courts
- High School Diploma required; Paralegal certificate a plus
Your New Role: Looking to join a collaborative litigation support team working in medical malpractice defense? You may be the perfect Paralegal for this downtown Portland firm!
You’ll rely on your medical malpractice or personal injury experience as you prepare medical chronologies, manage discovery, and organize medical records. Additional responsibilities will include drafting deposition summaries and responses to discovery requests. Your attorney will look to you to assist with trial prep and monitor cases throughout the litigation process.
