Your New Role:
Boly:Welch, in collaboration with First Children’s Finance, is leading the search for their first Oregon State Director. First Children’s Finance (FCF) is purposefully expanding its presence into Oregon, with a clear mission of enhancing childcare accessibility and sustainability across the state.

As the Oregon State Director, you’ll develop and execute on an established business model, working as the executive of the team to lead business and financial initiatives and foster strong partnerships with private and public sector stakeholders. Reporting to the Chief Programs Officer at the headquarters in Minneapolis, you’ll oversee all day-to-day operations within Oregon. Someone who has proven leadership and problem-solving skills, is self-driven, and passionate for this cause will thrive in building out the state’s FCF team.

We’re looking for a State Director with experience formulating and executing fundraising strategies, who brings a background in successfully implementing training and business programs. A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset will be key as you swiftly establish a capable and cohesive team of small business consultants in Oregon, through process-based hiring, training, and mentorship. With a focus on leading through inspiration, you’ll guide the team in delivering support to individual childcare businesses, facilitating community-driven initiatives to tackle childcare obstacles, and advocating for enhancements within the early care and education systems.

Infusing your approach with creativity, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous enhancement, you’ll drive efforts to deliver impactful business development programs and financial support to early care and education providers statewide.
