Boly:Welch

Job Number: 15079

Salary: $75K-$85K DOE

Industry: Legal

What Matters Most:

  • 5-10+ years of paralegal experience in personal injury or plaintiffs’ law required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems required
  • Experience with full case management required
  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred

Your New Role:
This personal injury firm is passionate about victim representation and makes headlines with their precedent-setting cases. They’re seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal who’s experienced in full case management.

The attorneys routinely represent a volume of high-profile cases, so they’ll need a driven Litigation Paralegal who can handle taking on 40-70 cases at a time. You’ll be tasked with keeping track of where cases fall in the trial process and anticipating the next steps. This will include sifting through medical records, preparing bill summaries, assembling testimonies, finding expert witnesses, and drafting Complaints and Motions to Compel.

The work is engaging and rewarding, and the team of best-in-class attorneys and support staff is very collaborative and congenial. If you’re a self-starter, you’ll have plenty of autonomy and opportunity to grow with this firm.

This is an in-office role. After an initial probationary period, you’ll have the option to switch to a four-day work week.

Your New Organization:
They’re a small firm handling a variety of complex cases involving everything from car accidents to product liability and civil rights matters. These attorneys look at each case as an opportunity to impact people’s lives in a positive way. There’s low turnover here, so expect to find a stable environment with colleagues that will provide support and encouragement as you tackle increasingly challenging projects. You’ll celebrate wins alongside your team and look out on the city during office happy hours on the building’s rooftop deck.

Benefits include paid time off, fully paid medical coverage, up to a $1000 annual reimbursement for dental coverage, paid parking or a monthly reimbursement for public transit, and a generous annual discretionary bonus.
