What Matters Most:
- 5-10+ years of paralegal experience in injury law required

- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Equivalent work experience accepted in lieu of a degree
Your New Role: This Portland law firm works on a variety of cases spanning premise liability, pharmacy negligence, workplace civil suits, and motor vehicle accidents. It’s primarily defense work with a little plaintiffs’ work thrown in. Business is booming, and they’re looking to add a Litigation Paralegal to the team.
You’ll be assigned to multiple attorneys and will be responsible for full case management. Experience reviewing medical records and creating chronologies will be key to your success in this role. Day-to-day, you will draft correspondence and pleadings, manage discovery, conduct background investigations, and prepare case summaries. You’ll need to be comfortable working with voluminous discovery and billing for your time.
