Boly:Welch

Job Number: 32386

Salary: $70K-$80K DOE

Industry: Legal

Must Haves:

  • 3-5+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in personal injury, general liability, product liability, or construction defect
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems
  • Experience with e-filing in Oregon and Washington courts
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Your New Role:

Join a respected litigation practice and take on a high-impact Litigation Legal Assistant role supporting a tenured partner and a busy associate specializing in personal injury and liability. This isn’t just admin work – it’s practice management at its best!

You’ll handle docketing, prep legal documents, schedule depositions and mediations, and manage e-filing in Oregon and Washington courts. Additional responsibilities will include running conflicts checks, setting up new client files, and communicating directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.

Expect variety, autonomy, and collaboration. You’ll occasionally assist other attorneys as part of a team that values problem-solving, tech fluency, and proactive communication. Your attorneys are known for being hard-working and appreciative of forward-thinking support.

After an in-office training period, you’ll have a flexible, hybrid schedule with your two in-office days each week.

Your New Organization:

This firm’s reputation in Portland’s legal community is built on collaboration, grit, and mutual respect. You’ll benefit from strong mentorship, deep institutional knowledge, and the kind of support that helps you grow. It’s a high-performing team, but they know how to have fun too. Think: summer staff events, a festive holiday party, and a culture that values both hard work and good company.

Benefits include medical and dental coverage; a cafeteria plan; transportation stipend; 401(k) with profit sharing; and paid time off.
