What Matters Most:
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience required, preferably in business or employment matters
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat required
- Experience with iManage or other case management program preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred
Your New Role: One of Portland’s leading business and litigation firms is searching for a proactive and adaptable Litigation Assistant to support a group of attorneys specializing in general business litigation, employment, and government relations.
Your day-to-day will consist of calendar management, formatting and editing legal documents, preparing transcriptions, assisting with timekeeping and billing, and general case management. As a member of this busy practice group, you may be called on to assist other attorneys and paralegals with special projects.
The team is known to be very open, helpful, and supportive. Your colleagues will be an excellent resource for you as you learn the ropes! And if the capacity is there, look forward to some growth in billable work.
After an in-office training period, you’ll have a hybrid schedule.
