  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, and social media platforms required
  • Non-profit or advocacy experience highly preferred


Your New Role:
You’re dynamic, forward-thinking, and a highly skilled writer and communicator who creates compelling information and content geared towards informing the public and organization members of the work. This organization is looking for a Communications Director to play a key role in their continued success. Bring your previous experience in advocacy work, NPOs, or government relations to this fast-paced environment where enthusiasm to perform drives success.

You’ll work alongside leadership to develop and implement an effective communication strategy geared towards informing the public of the work your organization does. You’ll showcase your experience within budget preparation, measuring KPIs, and successfully tracking and launching multiple items at once with competing priorities.

Day-to-day, this will look like generating content for a variety of channels ranging from email to social media to print marketing, overseeing branding consistency, and leading the communications and marketing department. You’ll also continuously measure effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategize about how to increase organization visibility. Media relations, market research, statement preparation, and budgeting will all also fall under your purview.

A position of this caliber requires major skills in organization and time management, as well as experience facilitating group collaboration. They’re looking for someone who can take in new information quickly and think strategically about how to best implement it to benefit the organization.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
