Must Haves:

  • 2-5+ years of litigation legal assistant experience, preferably in IP
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and case management software
  • E-filing experience in federal and district courts
  • High school diploma or equivalent


Your New Role:

With strong tech skills and e-filing experience, you may be a great fit for this Litigation Legal Assistant role at one of Portland’s most established law firms. In this role, you’ll support litigators and patent agents in a variety of intellectual property litigation matters.

Your responsibilities will include drafting and proofreading legal documents, docketing deadlines, conducting research, and maintaining up-to-date case files. You’ll provide essential trial prep support, e-file with federal and district courts, and assist with discovery. The attorneys will also rely on you to enter their billable hours, review invoices, and make travel arrangements.

This firm invests in the latest technology, so your software skills and ability to pick up new programs will be key to your success. Your team will also appreciate your attention to detail, proactive workstyle, and consistent follow-through.

This position will start on a temp-to-hire basis. After an in-office training period, you’ll have a hybrid schedule.
