Your New Role:
As a Post Secondary Options Coordinator for the Black United Fund, you’ll complete new student intake activities as it relates to scholarships and funds dispersed through this nonprofit organization. A knowledge of local philanthropic industry and culture as well as experience working with BIPOC is key. You’ll organize and conduct information sessions as needed with individuals, families, or small groups. You’ll also collaborate with partners and participants to help with data collection, project management, and grant reporting. In concert with the accounting and development team, you’ll lead the preparation of financial documentation which includes reconciliations for all activity through the life of a scholarship. A major part of this role involves ensuring the proper administration and distribution of all scholarships. You’ll also work closely with the development team to collect stories, testimonials, and photography/video of participants. This team is seeking someone who is very organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision. Members of historically underserved communities and BIPOC are encouraged to apply.
