Boly:Welch

Job Number: 16050

Salary: $69K-$78K

Industry: Legal

Must Haves:

  • 4+ years of litigation legal assistant background with docketing and e-filing experience
  • Technical proficiency in Clio, ProLaw, NetDocs, or similar docketing and e-filing programs
  • 4+ years of experience in insurance defense or business litigation preferred

Your New Role:

Join this nationally recognized law firm and demonstrate your efficacious understanding of court rulings and procedures as their next Litigation Legal Assistant.

In this dynamic role, you’ll provide support to two well-established partners, moving civil cases along in state and federal courts. One partner will require a keen eye for detail, as you’ll help to prioritize a busy inbox, docket deadlines, facilitate Appellate filings, proofread pleadings, and format and produce coverage opinions and related legal documents. Another will require sharp interpersonal skills and litigation knowledge, as you coordinate client contact, enter time, and handle filings for business and insurance matters.

Those with strong written and verbal communication skills, a stellar ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and excellent organization and multitasking skills will be crucial assets to the team.

After four to six weeks on-site, you’ll transition to a hybrid schedule. The strong team of legal assistants will help you get your footing as they consistently share deep knowledge and skills. They also enjoy social events and coffee breaks for that needed human connection.

Your New Organization:

Our client is well known for giving back to the community through pro bono projects and offering employees the perks and resources of a regional firm, but with an intimate culture reminiscent of a mid-sized firm. They’re dedicated to the professional development of their staff – they want you to learn all you can so you can bring that knowledge back to the rest of the team!

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life, AD&D, and disability insurance, FSA, EAP, a 401(k) plus match and profit sharing, and paid time off.
