One of our stellar clients is seeking someone exceptional to join their small-but-mighty team as an Institutional Investment Advisor. As the Institutional Investment Advisor, you will be responsible for fostering relationships with existing firm clients, primarily in the government sector. They’re looking for a self-motivated worker, driven to consistently exceed client expectations, and possess an in-depth knowledge of fixed-income securities and markets.
You will work directly with clients to identify their needs and implement plans to address them, while also assisting in the development, management, and innovation of firm processes. Throughout, you will effectively manage client expectations and guide them through complex situations with tact. This role is based in Portland, offers office-based flexibility, and for employees who exceed expectations and demonstrate leadership within the firm, presents potential future partnership opportunities.
This is a hybrid position.
Your New Organization: This eight-person firm provides independent and unbiased fixed-income investment advice. Their senior advisors saw the increasing need for investment advice for cities, counties, transit and port authorities, water districts, universities and all types of public funds that are managing their general operating, bond proceeds and restricted funds. Founding the company as a Registered Investment Advisor under the Investment Advisor Act of 1940, the team believes in the power of partnership. Their experience in the public-fund fixed-income markets is one of their greatest resources.
