Your New Role: This boutique Portland law firm is seeking a resourceful Paralegal/Legal Assistant to support attorneys working in all areas of family law.
You’ll work closely with an associate attorney, managing their calendar and caseload, and will partner with a tenured paralegal to support two partners, one of whom specializes in appeals. Daily tasks will include new client intakes, docketing deadlines, and e-Filing with local courts. Strong written communication skills are crucial here, as you’ll draft and proofread a variety of legal documents. You’ll lean on your discovery management skills and local court knowledge as you prepare for trial and create trial notebooks and exhibits.
This team is seeking someone congenial, detail-oriented, and great at keeping up with shifting priorities. You’ll have plenty of room for growth at this firm with opportunities to learn about different areas of family law and mentorship from tenured colleagues.
After an in-office training period, you’ll have some hybrid flexibility.
