What Matters Most:
- 2-5+ years of experience in EHS management required, preferably in a setting with cGMP compliance
- CSP, CIH, and OSHA certifications highly preferred
- Experience with EHS compliance auditing or inspections
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced PowerPoint and Excel a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in occupational safety or related field preferred
- Must have reliable transportation for regular travel to The Dalles
Your New Role: Are you an Environmental Health & Safety Expert looking to join a great local manufacturing business?
As an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist, you’ll oversee and ensure the effective execution of EHS programs at our client’s Clackamas facility. You’ll also support their operations in The Dalles about 20% of the time.
Your role will include: developing and implementing industrial hygiene strategies to manage exposures, managing contractor compliance, and participating in capital project design reviews to incorporate EHS considerations. Ensuring compliance with regulations, collaborating with site safety committees to address concerns, and implementing continuous improvements in EHS will also fall under your purview.
Reliable transportation and a valid Oregon driver’s license will be required as this role involves regular travel to The Dalles.
