Your New Role: As the Director of Behavioral Health at this healthcare organization known for community impact, you’ll play a instrumental role in elevating behavioral health services and supporting the wellbeing of the community. This position places you at the center of care coordination, where you’ll ensure that the services provided meet Oregon Health Association standards, manage prior authorizations, and oversee utilization management to deliver the best outcomes for members.
Guided by a strong commitment to health equity, you’ll work to provide high-quality, integrated care to a diverse population, while also collaborating with the Traditional Health Worker (THW) Liaison to expand access and incorporate THWs more fully into the care system.
This highly collaborative role requires excellent communication skills and an ability to foster meaningful connections with internal teams, community partners, and stakeholders, creating a seamless and supportive care environment. As an adaptable leader with a strong sense of integrity and focus on compliance, you’ll ensure member privacy and uphold trust within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Behavioral Health Services Leadership: Oversee and coordinate behavioral health services to achieve medically appropriate care and optimal outcomes
- THW Integration: Collaborate with the Traditional Health Worker Liaison to improve access to THW services and integrate them within the care delivery system
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Meet all Oregon Health Association Behavioral Health deliverables and contract requirements
- Care Coordination & Utilization Management: Manage behavioral health care coordination, including prior authorizations and utilization management processes
