What Matters Most:

  • 3+ years of bankruptcy legal assistant experience
  • Significant experience with Chapter 11 and receiverships required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat required
  • Experience with iManage or other case management program preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred


Your New Role:

Join one of Portland’s leading business firms as a Bankruptcy Legal Assistant, working in tandem with several esteemed attorneys and a group of dynamic paralegals and legal assistants.

Day-to-day, you’ll maintain attorney calendars, docket deadlines, manage client billing, and organize digital and paper files, documents, and minute books. Strong editing and formatting skills and an eye for details will be essential as you prepare a variety of legal documents.

Your assigned attorneys will appreciate your motivated demeanor, organization skills, and experience with Chapter 11 bankruptcies.

After an in-office training period, you’ll have a hybrid schedule.
