Your New Role: Are you a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in inventory reconciliation and the needs of the distribution industry? This Assistant VP of Accounting role could be your opportunity to drive this major distribution company’s accounting department.

As the Assistant VP of Accounting, you’ll drive this company’s accounting and finance team forward, optimizing department performance, managing multiple direct reports, and ensuring the organization’s financial health. You’ll oversee all aspects of the accounting team, delegate tasks as needed, and establish best practices and protocols.

This is a multifaceted role, where you’ll have the autonomy to spearhead short-term financial objectives while maintaining their long-term vision, financial analyses, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. A proactive approach to cultivating strong relationships with the leadership team will be key to ensuring transparent communication, with regular updates on the company’s status.
