  • 3+ years of administrative, bookkeeping or accounting-adjacent experience
  • Experience gathering tax and audit information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or other electronic record keeping systems
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online
  • Familiarity with COBID, Medicaid, and other industry certifications preferred


Your New Role:

Are you looking for a role to support a local nonprofit to function like a well-oiled machine? This Administrative Assistant role might be what you’re looking for!

This is a multifaceted role where you’ll support a variety of responsibilities, so someone with a proactive approach would do well here. In your day-to-day, you’ll collect and organize documents required for audits and financial reports, assist the HR department with workers’ compensation audits, and keep track of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines to ensure the completion of various projects.

Your organized and methodical nature will be your greatest asset as you organize staff events, as well as track and prepare tax-related documents, and maintain an organized system to track various deadlines for projects and events.

The team is looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, strong emotional intelligence, and an ability to maintain confidential information. Additionally, strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks is a must!

You’ll start this role on-site; after an initial training period, you’ll have a flexible hybrid schedule. This contract covers a three-month period, after which you’ll be converted to be a permanent employee.
