What Matters Most:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of collections, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial statement analysis required
  • Proficiency in MS Office required, including advanced experience with MS Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; 5+ years of full charge bookkeeping experience accepted in lieu of degree

Your New Role:

We’re working with a local distributor to add a super sharp Accountant to their small team. You’ll be the numbers person on this team, handling invoices, wire transfers, balance statements, month-end reports, and quarterly and year-end taxes. You’ll cut outgoing checks and ACHs, review aging accounts, and troubleshoot accounts receivable and accounts payable issues, all while adhering to GAAP. There are many moving parts here, so your ability to communicate often and clearly with the rest of the team will be to your advantage.
