Community Connections

We’re proud to be a Certified B Corporation™, a company leading the global movement to use business as a force for good.

B Corps are for-profit companies certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. The B Corp Certification was introduced in 2007 by a group of entrepreneurs seeking to use the power of business to solve social and environmental problems. Today, there is a growing community of more than 2,600 Certified B Corps from 60 countries and over 150 industries working together toward 1 unifying goal: to redefine success in business. The Boly:Welch team believes that a sustainable business is dependent on economic vitality, social equity and a healthy, natural environment and our success stems from within the community where we live, work and prosper.

As leaders with a great passion for the future of our community, we are committed to sustainable business practices that meet the needs of the present without compromising the welfare of future generations.

Our Be:Well Team has developed programs and policies that have enabled us to move towards sustainability while enhancing the value we bring to our clients, candidates and our employees including a preference for local suppliers, brokers and vendors.

We value the organizations that make the Portland Metro area a healthy, vibrant and livable workplace.

To recognize and celebrate the contributions of this critical web of relationships, we have crafted a model for community giving which involves partnerships, volunteerism and financial giving. Our Community Connections program supports local organizations through sponsorships, in-kind giving and the volunteer efforts of our employees. Each Boly:Welch staff member has 12 volunteer days annually to support the philanthropy of their choice. These relationships build the base for additional financial contributions and fundraising efforts throughout the year, often in the form of event sponsorships.

From volunteer opportunities to in-kind giving to partnership programs, we have embraced both the value and excitement of modeling community stewardship and are proud to support the following organizations:

  • Greater Than
  • CASA for Children of Multnomah & Washington Counties
  • Bridge Meadows
  • Community Warehouse

We hope that these organizations have benefited from the financial impact of our relationship, from volunteers in mentorship and committee roles, and through synergies with our clients and friends. Boly:Welch employees have embraced these partnerships and have grown from their expanded roles and involvement with these agencies.

Our team is proud to be affiliated with the following professional associations through membership and engagement:

As a member of the small business community we know that you don’t have to be big to have a big impact.
