What Matters Most:

  • 1-8 years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced proficiency with Excel; Experience working in a robust accounting system, Blackbaud Financial Edge accounting software preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required

Your New Role:

You’ll be an integral piece of this nonprofit organization when you join their team as a Staff Accountant. It’s a role where problem-solving, prioritizing tasks, and process improvement is all in a day’s work! Under the leadership of the Vice President of Finance, you’ll prepare and process cash receipts, general ledger entries, and reconciliations. You may also be tasked to assist with grant accounting functions. You’ll also assist with month and year-end reporting and offer additional support for other essential accounting functions. Working with this accounting team, your main priority is to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Your ability to communicate across teams will go far here! This department is ready to bring in a Staff Accountant who’s eager to develop their career for an organization with a strong mission.
