The August 2015 announcement of Andrew Welch as company President aligned the agency’s vision to maintain local ownership, a unique culture and reputation for excellence with a shifting generational landscape. This change helps us maintain a sustainable and community-minded philosophy for the future leadership structure of the company.

Diane BolyDiane Boly is a native Oregonian and University of Oregon grad who kick-started her professional life as a social worker, then built a career around helping others. She is a true believer in the power of networking and her reach extends across all segments of her life. Her community involvement has spanned a host of local philanthropies and over the years she has been a strong ambassador for many organizations. She currently sits on the advisory council of Johnson Creek Watershed and the board of Greater Than (formerly I Have a Dream Foundation). Diane’s contributions have been well recognized and she is a proud recipient of the Portland Business Journal’s Orchid Award. More
Pat WelchPat Welch balances a busy work schedule with an active personal life. For more than 30 years, she and co-founder Diane Boly have continued to actively manage the 40+ person staff at this multi-division, full-service recruiting and consulting agency. Pat’s enthusiasm is as legendary as her dedication to community service. She is committed to advocating for the most underserved and vulnerable population, foster children. She serves as a board member of Bridge Meadows and as the Board President of CASA for Multnomah & Washington Counties. More


Andrew Welch Andrew Welch is a sixth generation Oregonian and an incorrigible contrarian. He accepts rules because they provide opportunities to break them, but much prefers exceptions and outliers. A circuitous path through virtually every career and continent brought him back to his roots at Boly:Welch, hungry to vanquish mediocrity in all of its insidious forms and learn more about the family business.
